We're off on another lovely jaunt through Am-dam and invite you to see it through the lens of every 2000 steps.
Since our motto when in Holland is 'move or die', we do an enormous amount of walking. It's just too damn easy to stay in one place and get cozy (gezellig!), so we have a short snack, libation or amusement and we move on!

Bags are packed, the dog is dropped off with caring friends, and we are about 30 minutes from hitting the airport.
A quick hop to Houston, then 10 hours to wake up at Schiphol - we should arrive at Centraal just in time to hop out back and check out the Tall Ships departing. Guess they've been there all weekend, so we'll get to see the flotilla depart.
We get into Netherlands circa 8am. There is never a hassle with customs incoming, and with the trains running every 15 minutes, we'll be on the Dam by 9:30, or 10 at the latest. We'll store luggage at the Station and just wander until 2 when we can pick up our keys.
We know where we are staying, it's great and conveniently located, and meters from De Waag! So, we're set on that. And then, Museumkaarts!
